An art exhibition transforming into a techno rave. RED ROOM marks Ashley Lazarz's debut solo exhibition, introducing an entirely new body of work centered around the color red. This exhibition explores feminine power, emotional tension, intimacy, secrecy, danger, ritual, and connection through a collection of psychologically charged paintings and photographic works. The evening begins as a gallery experience, inviting guests to move through the work and environment at their own pace. At 10PM, the room transforms. The energy shifts from observation into movement, sound, and collective release as the exhibition evolves into a techno rave featuring live DJ sets by Penny Lane and DEA. 10PM - Penny Lane 11PM - DEA RED ROOM blurs the line between viewer and participant, exhibition and experience. Wear black. September 5 8PM–12AM Austin, TX FAQs: Is the artwork for sale? Yes. All pieces will be available for purchase. You may take your art home at the end of the evening or arrange delivery. What time should I arrive? Doors open at 8PM. The exhibition is best experienced earlier in the evening before the space transitions at 10PM. What happens at 10PM? Beginning at 10PM, Red Room transitions into a techno rave with live sets by Penny Lane and DEA, immersing guests in sound, movement, and the evolving atmosphere of the night. Will tickets be available at the door? Yes, if capacity allows. Advance tickets are cheaper and strongly encouraged as space is limited. Can I take photos? Yes, photography is encouraged. Please be respectful of the artwork and other guests. Is parking available? Street parking is available nearby. Please plan accordingly. Will there be drinks? Yes. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Donations are appreciated. Will there be food? Light bites will be provided. There is also a food truck in the front of the gallery.
