VOTER FEST

Description

Voter Fest: Austin’s Early Voting Kickoff Saturday, October 24 | 11am to 2pm Central Machine Works, 4824 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin Free breakfast tacos for the first 100 people who RSVP here on Hey Y’all! Show your RSVP at check-in to claim yours. October 24 is the only Saturday of early voting in Austin, and we’re throwing a party for it. Think SXSW activation: a morning full of music, movement and things to do with friends, plus everything you need to feel confident about your ballot. The Active Party: Kick things off at 11am with a 2-mile run through the neighborhood, then a group workout. The Smarty Party: Learn something new at our line dancing lesson, and stop by tables from nonpartisan civic partners to check your registration, find your polling place and see what’s on your ballot. The After Party: DJs and dancing all day, plus local vendors and activations to explore. Voter Fest is free, open to everyone and strictly nonpartisan. Bring your friends, make a plan to vote, and help make showing up for local elections part of Austin’s culture. Hosted by Texas Voter Project.
